Sydnie Christmas: The Rising Star Who Followed Her Dreams to the Top

Then Lazarus. She was a “backing vocalist There were 3 of us of the voices in the West End production of Lazarus, a role that immediately exhibited her extraordinary vocal talent and stage presence.

Sydnie’s love for music and her passion for travel brought her back working on a cruise ship and gave her the joy of exploring the world with new destination every week.  She then came home to family.

Sydnie felt she was lucky enough to get starlight" But Sydnie’s journey was just beginning. she took her talents to Germany, starring in the production of Starlight Express. Her ability to captivate audiences was undeniable, and it wasn’t long before she was making waves on the global stage. Then she came home and that’s where she was ever since until the next opportunity came.

Despite her success, Sydnie knew there was more to achieve. She set her sights on the biggest stage of all—British Got Talent. Taking a leap of faith, she sent in her audition tape, and the show quickly recognized her potential. Sydnie was invited to perform live, where she delivered a breathtaking rendition of “Tomorrow” from Annie, inspired by the Marisha Wallace version. Her performance struck a chord with both the audience and the judges, leading Amanda Holden to award Sydnie the coveted Golden Buzzer, propelling her straight to the live shows.

Throughout the competition, Sydnie’s performances only grew stronger, thanks in part to the expert coaching provided by the show. Her hard work and dedication paid off in the final round, where she secured an overwhelming 27.2% of the votes, claiming the title of British Got Talent 2024 champion.
